Use this guide to point www.themorriswealthgroup.com to your project and verify ownership so Lovable can provision SSL.
We generated a branded walkthrough that shows the entire process from Project Settings to DNS verification. If you prefer video, follow that first; then use this page for the exact DNS record values.
Return to the home page to watch the tutorial →In your Lovable project, go to Project Settings → Project section → Domains. Alternatively, open the Publish dialog and click Add custom domain.
Click Connect Domain and enter the domain you want to use: www.themorriswealthgroup.com. You must add both the root domain and the www subdomain as separate entries.
Lovable will show you the exact records to add. If you manage DNS elsewhere (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.), create the following records. Replace the TXT value with the unique verification code shown in your Lovable setup flow.
| Type | Name / Host | Value | TTL | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | @ | 185.158.133.1 | Auto | Points the root domain (themorriswealthgroup.com) to Lovable. |
| A | www | 185.158.133.1 | Auto | Points the www subdomain to Lovable. |
| TXT | _lovable | lovable_verify=ABC | Auto | Proves you own the domain so Lovable can issue SSL. |
Registrar-specific tip: Some hosts use “@” for the root, others use your full domain name. Some use a default TTL of 1 hour. The values above are the same values shown in the tutorial video; your Lovable setup may show a different TXT verification string — use that one.
After saving the records, return to Project Settings → Domains. Lovable will verify the TXT record and then provision SSL. DNS propagation can take up to 72 hours, but it usually completes within a few minutes to a few hours.
Once both themorriswealthgroup.com and www.themorriswealthgroup.com show as Active, choose one as your Primary domain. Visitors who use the other version will automatically redirect to the primary.
Check your registrar for duplicate A, CNAME, or TXT records for the same host. Conflicting records will block verification. Use a tool like DNSChecker.org to confirm propagation.
Make sure both the root (@) and www records are added. If you use Cloudflare, enable proxy mode during setup and let Lovable use CNAME verification instead of A records.
Open Project Settings → Domains → click the three-dot menu (⋯) on your domain → Configure → Manage DNS records. Add or edit records there directly.
Add both yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com in the Domains page. Then choose one as the Primary domain in Lovable — the other will redirect automatically.
If your domain is still not verified after 72 hours and the records above match, contact Lovable support with your domain name and a screenshot of your DNS settings. You can also use DNSChecker.org to confirm the A records and TXT record are visible worldwide.
